Neuron is a UX/UI design agency headquartered in downtown San Francisco. We are a boutique team of designers and strategists and are looking to expand our existing Project Management capacity. Together, we create engaging digital experiences for a wide range of clients and industries.
Notable Clients: IKEA, Google X, Hootsuite, Vivint, Listrak, Flo Health, Paycom, Uniphore.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help us deliver best-in-class design work on time and on budget. Candidates should have 3-5 years of project management experience at a digital design or product agency, strong client-facing communication skills, and the discipline to work remotely.
Strong organizational and communication skills are critical. This role sits at the intersection of client relationships and creative delivery; you'll keep projects moving, stakeholders aligned, and our team focused. Since we are a boutique agency, you will have a direct, meaningful impact on every project you touch.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day client communication, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.

Build and maintain project timelines, budgets, priorities, and documentation.

Support scoping and estimation for new and ongoing client work.

Coordinate tasks and handoffs across designers and partner vendors.

Review deliverables before client handoff to ensure all requirements are met.

Identify risks early and resolve or escalate them before they become issues.

Organize project files, tasks, and communications across our toolset.

Optimize existing workflows and contribute to improving agency processes.

Identify issues and potential risks before they escalate.
Prerequisites

3-5 years of digital project management experience in an agency environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong understanding of the UX/UI design and development process.

Highly organized, self-directed, and proactive.

Comfortable with tools like Figma, Asana, Claude, and Google Workspace.
Bonus Points

Experience managing UX/UI or product design projects specifically.
